MSHB brave the hot coals for Maggie's

This year, our employee-led charity committee voted to support Maggie’s to help the charity’s efforts to provide support for people living with cancer and their families. Throughout this year we have undertaken a number of fundraising events, with the firewalk being our final fundraiser of the year.

Many industries around the globe require employees to work later into the evenings. Whether this is in the healthcare or hospitality sector, one thing that unites these employees is the commute home. As many of us will have undertaken part-time roles in the hospitality and retail sector at some time in our lives, we will all have had the same thought as to whether it is safe for us to be making our way home at night. Plans lodged for Edinburgh Green

Plans have been lodged in Edinburgh for a campus-style office development with a major focus on wellbeing and sustainability. The proposed site for Edinburgh Green is set within the existing site of Drummond House and the Younger Building in Edinburgh Park. London-based property manager Shelborn Asset Management has filed plans with Edinburgh City Council after purchasing the site from NatWest Group in 2021. The proposal seeks to deliver a new approach to open space with modern amenities and a transportation and mobility hub, in close alignment with Edinburgh’s pathway to Net Zero.[1]
