Stephen is a Partner in our employment unit having joined the firm in 2006 and becoming a partner in 2014. He has specialised in employment law since 2006, providing advice to clients on a wide range of issues, acting for both employees and employers. He takes a practical approach to the assistance he provides, focussing on his client's goals and desired outcomes and ensuring these are at the heart of the advice provided.
In addition to regularly appearing in the Employment Tribunal on behalf of clients, Stephen provides advice on a wide range of employment law and HR topics, including disciplinary and grievance matters, unfair dismissal, discrimination issues, the Working Time Regulations, TUPE, family friendly rights and contractual matters.
Stephen also designs and presents training courses on HR issues and has given seminars attended by members of the HR and business community, most recently speaking at the CIPD Scotland conference.
He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Scottish Discrimination Law Association.
