David is a solicitor in our Dispute Resolution and Litigation department. He qualified as a solicitor in 2021 following completion of a litigation-focussed traineeship with the firm.
David has a broad interest in all aspects of dispute resolution and litigation with a particular passion for oral advocacy. Throughout his traineeship, and as a qualified solicitor, David has appeared in courts, tribunals and licensing boards across Scotland, acting for both Pursuers and Defenders .
David has acted for clients in areas such as personal injury, breach of contract, property disputes, lease disputes, debt/asset recovery and interdict. He has also assisted with the preparation of large and complex cases in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.
David is also a member of the Law Society of Scotland’s New Lawyers Reference Group.
