Charity Committee – Total Raised for 2022 for Maggie's and Chosen Charities for 2023

Total Raised for 2022:

At Miller Samuel Hill Brown, we have an employee-led charity committee, and each year we choose a charity to partner with. Last year staff voted for Maggie’s to help in the charity’s efforts to provide support for people living with cancer and their families. We are delighted to have raised funds for Maggie’s throughout 2022 by undertaking a number of fundraising activities: bake off; Kiltwalk; potluck; and the firewalk.

The team are proud to say that we raised just over £7,000 for Maggie’s.

Chosen Charities 2023:

Miller Samuel Hill Brown are pleased to be able to partner with two charities this year. Our charity committee hopes to raise thousands over this year for both charities through a series of fundraising activities. We are excited to announce our new charity partnerships:

• Maggie’s – We have decided to support Maggie’s again this year to help with the amazing work they do. You can read more about Maggie’s on their website.

• Glendrick Roost Animal Sanctuary– This charity’s purpose is providing a home for rescue animals, from Gerbils to Horses! You can find out more information on the incredible work this charity undertakes to support and care for abused, unwanted and abandoned animals through their website.

We are kicking off our fundraising with a firm bake sale on the 21^st of February 2023!
