To kick off the firm’s first 2023 fundraiser for Maggie’s and the Glendrick Roost Animal Welfare Centre, our charity committee held a Bake Off last week. The office star bakers created a whole host of delicious treats which helped raise just under £200 for the charities close to our hearts.
This year, our employee-led charity committee voted to support Maggie’s and the Glendrick Roost Animal Welfare Centre. Through a series of fundraising activities over the course of the year the committee hopes to raise thousands for both charities.
Maggie’s
The charity provides support for people living with cancer and their families. Set alongside NHS hospitals, the cancer care-centres bring people together in a calm, friendly, uplifting space. Qualified professionals help people take back control when cancer turns life upside down for anything from treatment side effects to money worries.
Glendrick Roost Animal Welfare Centre
Glendrick Roost’s purpose is providing a forever home for their rescue animals. The small Scottish charity take in abused, abandoned and unwanted animals from gerbils to Clydesdale horses to give them a sanctuary.
