With roots dating back to 1750, MSHB Legal is an established Scottish law firm based in Glasgow, offering a full-service practice spanning residential and commercial property, family law, corporate and litigation, employment law, licensing, personal injury, and more.
We pride ourselves on delivering tailored, pragmatic, and client-focused legal solutions; our culture is built on collaboration, accessibility, and making a real difference for our clients.
We are strengthening our employment team and now seek a talented Senior Associate or Partner-level employment lawyer to join our growing practice.
You will assist in leading the Employment Law practice within MSHB Legal — taking responsibility for a wide spectrum of employment matters, including: HR advisory work, complex employee relations, tribunal representation, TUPE, redundancy & restructuring, settlement agreements, discrimination/harassment claims, senior executive employment contracts, and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Whether you already bring in a network of clients or have the capability to build new business, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow the practice across Scotland — working with private individuals, SMEs, larger businesses, public-sector clients and corporate clients. As MSHB covers clients throughout Scotland (Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Inverness and more), you will have both local and national scope.
MSHB Legal is a well-established firm with longstanding roots in the Scottish legal market, integrating tradition with contemporary approaches and serving a diverse client base that includes individuals, SMEs, and large corporations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop our Employment Law team within a firm recognised for clear communication, pragmatic solutions, and exceptional client service.
We take pride in the trust our clients place in us to deliver expert, tailored advice that has a meaningful impact. Our collaborative and supportive culture is reflected in our flexible working arrangements, competitive salaries, private healthcare, generous holiday entitlement, and opportunities for long-term partnership or equity participation. Our dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR), integrity, and ongoing professional development enables our team members to thrive and build enduring careers.
This position is suited to a motivated solicitor seeking to advance their career within a respected firm that values both legal excellence and collective success.
